Dr. Shadrokh Nabili has undergone comprehensive and accredited training in ophthalmology, encompassing basic, higher specialist, and advanced subspecialty levels. His training took place at prestigious institutions, including Ninewells University Hospital, The Royal Hospitals (Belfast), and Bristol Eye Hospital, since 2000.
Achievements and Accreditations
In 2008, he achieved fellowships from the Royal College of Ophthalmologists (London) and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Following this, in 2009, he completed an Advanced Sub-specialty Fellowship (ASTO) in Cornea and External Eye Diseases (Anterior Segment). This advanced training led to his appointment as a full-time consultant ophthalmic surgeon at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust, where he established cornea and external eye disease services in South Cumbria and North Lancashire.
